The present invention relates to a brake system of an automobile. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the brake system for an automobile, comprises: a caliper housing, wherein an auxiliary cylinder, which communicates with a cylinder, and whose inner radius is reduced to be extended to an outer side, is formed on an inner end of the cylinder; a piston including a large diameter part which performs reciprocating motion on the cylinder, and a small diameter part which is extended from one side end of the large diameter part to perform reciprocating motion on the auxiliary cylinder; and a sealing member coupled between the auxiliary cylinder and the outer periphery of the auxiliary cylinder of the piston. According to brake system of an automobile in accordance with the embodiment of the present invention, when a driver works a brake pedal, return operation of the piston can be fast and accurate after the piston is moved frontward, thereby improving reliability of the brake system. |
