The invention refers to medicine, in particular to oncology and may be used for treatment of laryngeal carcinoma with localization in the glottic and infraglottic regions, complicated with respiratory failure. Summary of the invention consists in that it is made an incision in the form of arc with the margins directed downward above the jugular incisure of sternum, then it is made a horizontal incision parallel to the hyoid bone, and from it downward a median incision up to the level of the incision in the form of arc, there are excised the sternohyoid and sternothyroid muscles from the sternum and the clavicle, afterwards it is removed the larynx with the isthmus of thyroid, the affected gland portion and 4à6 affected tracheal rings. It is sutured the defect of the anterior wall of pharynx and is applied a tracheostome, and the wound is sutured layer-by-layer.
