PREPARATION:The polypeptide of formula I is produced and accumulated in a cultured product and separated therefrom by culturing a recombinant microbial cell transformed with a recombinant plasmid containing a DNA region coding a physiologically active polypeptide expressed by the amino acid sequence of formula II or a polypeptide having Met bonded to the amino terminal of the above physiologically active polypeptide.
