PURPOSE: To catch metal particles scattered from a welding ring in the case of welding a cap to a header by providing a 2nd ring on the flange of the cap which is radially inside the welding ring. CONSTITUTION: A cup-shaped cap 20, to be welded to a metal header 12 for forming a sealed housing, has a flange 24 extending radially outward from its edge part, welding ring 26 protruded from the face of this flange, and 2nd ring 30 protruded from the face of the flange and arranged while being separated radially inside from the welding ring. When welding the cap 20 to the header 12, the 2nd ring 30 catches particles from the welding ring 26 and these particles are held between the 2nd ring 30 and the welding ring 26, so that the particles can be prevented from entering a housing 10. |
