A device for indicating that a current passage occurred in the conductors of lightning protection equipment exhibits a housing (2), particularly of plastic, through which a metal rod (1) is passed. A guide (4) ends in a pocket (5) covered with a transparent disk (6). A magnet (7) adheres to the metal rod (1). The metal rod (1) is connected to lightning protection equipment so that current flows through it when lightning strikes.
