<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the portable electronic equipment which can have accessory equipment provided detachably to the circumferential part surrounding the display screen of the display part by mechanically holding the accessory equipment detachably at the circumferential part and connecting it electrically in the detachable state. SOLUTION: The circumferential part 20 of the display part 3 has an upper side part 21, a left side part 22, a right side part 23, and a lower side part 24. Those upper side part 21, left side part 22, right side part 23, and lower side part 24 surround the screen G of the liquid crystal display device. The circumferential part of this display part 3 can be fitted detachably with a couple of stereophonic or monaural speakers 30 and 31. Those speakers 30 and 31 are a kind of accessory equipment and mechanically fitted in the left side part 22 and right side part 23, so that they can be connected electrically at the same time. As well as the speakers 30 and 31, a camera, a microphone, radio equipment, and a portable telephone set, other kinds of equipment can be adopted as the accessory equipment.</p> |
