PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an information processor which can perform a DC OFF process even if a fault occurs to a power source control part. SOLUTION: If the power source control part is stalled and a shutdown request part is not interrupted (NO at 43), a time-out occurs and a fault detection part recognizes that the power source control part becomes faulty (47) and makes a shutdown process request for the OS (49). After the shutdown process for the OS, a DC-OFF request display part is referred to (52) and when a DC-OFF display part shows '1' (YES at 53), a DC-OFF process request is sent to an auxiliary power source process part (56). The auxiliary power source process part sends a DC-OFF indication to the power source process execution part of the power source to perform the DC-OFF process (57).
