A shaft for golf club with multi-layered structure of an innermost layer, elastic material around the innermost layer and an outer fiber layer is provided to increase elastic force and restoration force of the shaft, to correctly strike ball, and to enhance flight distance. The shaft comprises: first layer(1) made of carbon fiber that is located at innermost part; an elastic material(3) that is formed in length direction around outer side of the first layer; and second layer(5) that encloses the first layer(1) and the elastic material(3). The shaft further has third layer(7) around outer side of the second layer(5). Additionally, the shaft further includes a contractive film layer(9) made of film material contracting by heat such as PE tape that envelops the third layer(7). The elastic material comprises elastic carbon or metal material containing steel or titanium as a major element. |
