PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a joint structure and a joint structure which suppress reduction in a yield and joint quality even when it is difficult to achieve a high resin temperature and a high filling pressure.SOLUTION: A method for producing a joint structure 1 in which a first member 2 and a second member 3 formed of a resin are joined to each other includes: a boring step of forming first and second stage boring portions 4 and 5 which vertically communicate while regarding the surface side of the first member 2 as an upper side on the surface portion of the first member 2 constituting a joint surface with the second member 3 by irradiation of a laser so that an opening area of the first stage boring portion 4 in the uppermost stage between the first and second stage boring portions 4 and 5 becomes the largest; and a joining step of filling the first and second stage boring portions 4 and 5 with the second member 3, and joining the first member 2 and the second member 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
