PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the circuit scale to achieve high-definition color reproducibility.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus comprises: a first processing circuit 120 that performs processing to convert gradation characteristics on input image data (HLS data) of a color space to be displayed with polar coordinates; a second processing circuit 130 that performs color conversion of image data processed by the first processing circuit 120 with a three-dimensional look-up table; and a third processing circuit 140 that converts the gradation characteristics of the image data processed by the second processing circuit 130 into the gradation characteristics before the conversion by the first processing circuit 120.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
