PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a learning support technology which can increase learning effects of a student by determining a learning element where understanding is insufficient.SOLUTION: A learning support system 1 according to the current invention includes a student terminal 3 and a learning support server 2 connected to the student terminal 3. The learning support server 2 is provided with: learning element information storage means 2a; student information storage means 2b; test question information storage means 2c; result information storage means 2d; understanding update means 2h updating understanding every learning element of the student; learning element influence level calculation means 2i which calculates the level of influence every learning element with respect to a kind specific answer result according to the result of test question answer stored to the result information storage means 2d and understanding every learning element of the student associated with the same; element of insufficient understanding determining means 2j which determines that a learning element of the highest level of influence among learning elements associated with the kind specific answer result matching wrong test question answer results is not understood sufficiently.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
