COUNTERSINKING BIT

The chamfering bit is designed mainly for chamfering of edges of holes made on drilling and working machines or in all places with suitable conditions for it. The tool consists of a tang (1) and a cutting part (2), formed by a conical surface (4) with a hole (3) perpendicular to a plastic conical surface piece (4). By means of grinding of the conical surface, (4) by a cam with stroke (h) with maximum height of 0.5 mm starting on either right or left half of the intersection of the conical surface (3) with the hole and ending on the opposite side, a back surface (5) is obtained with the dorsal angle (α) ranging from 7 to 13 degrees, face angle (γ) ranging from 10 to 25 degrees, while the vertex angle of the tool (ω) ranges from 60 to 120 degrees.<IMAGE>
