摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary cell which is constructed by using a positive electrode having a positive electrode active material layer of composition suitable for being formed using a water-based paste, and has a low internal resistance, and to provide a method of the same. <P>SOLUTION: The positive electrode constituting the lithium secondary cell has a positive electrode collector mainly consisting of aluminum and the positive electrode active material layer formed on the positive electrode collector. The positive electrode active material layer includes at least a kind of binder substantially insoluble for organic solvent and the positive electrode active material mainly consisting of lithium transition metal composite oxide, wherein at least one of the following contents is satisfied. (1) The ratio the sum of cubic capacities of pores with diameters of 2 &mu;m or less to that of all the pores is 45 vol.% or more.
