<p>It is an object to provide an information retrieval system that efficiently retrieves information in which other users are interested and makes it available to users. An information retrieval system, which carries out the retrieval of database based on a keyword input from a terminal device and outputs a retrieval result to a terminal device and displays it, is provided with an anchor text information acquisition unit (30) that acquires an anchor text contained in an anchor tag in a web page subjected to retrieval and the number of clicks of the anchor text, a retrieval unit (27) that retrieves a web page containing a keyword input from a terminal device from a database, and an information ranking unit (34) that ranks each of web pages based on the number of clicks of an anchor text containing a keyword, wherein the anchor text is contained in an anchor tag in a web page of the origin of a link, the destination link of which is each web page retrieved by the retrieval unit (27).</p> |
