A LED foot lighting device, which can provide with higher efficiency an obvious illumination point on ground and minimize the perceivable direct light. The device comprises a box body, a light emitting diode, and a light guide plate. The light guide plate and the light emitting diode are simultaneously inlaid onto the box body, and has positive surface and negative surface parallel to the positive surface. The light emitting diode is installed in the adjacent region to one end of the outer surface of the light guide plate to guide the light beam to enter into the light guide plate, such that the light beam guided to enter into the light guide plate is incident at the angle greater than the critical angel of light guide plate to the opposite end of the guided direction of internal overall reflection. The light guide plate comprises a current altering device on the negative surface, which reflects the forward light beam in the light guide plate to sever the internal overall reflection on the positive surface in a tilt direction of the internal overall reflection and,through the positive surface, to transmit the reflected light beam on the current altering device and to guide the light beam on the positive surface to the forward and downward directions. The light beam of internal overall reflection in the light guide plate can be altered in a direction of severing the internal overall reflection to be guided downwards to transmit the positive surface, so that the invention has an additional effect of minimizing light quantity guided upwards through the positive surface. |
