PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system in which it is not necessary to set ID codes intrinsic for a plurality of slave devices and further, a specific slave device can be selected by transmitting a data stream to which error-correcting parity bits are added.SOLUTION: A transmitted data stream is received and decode information bits are created by receiving data starting from a bit next to a bit of "1" that is one of leading address bits, as information bits with reception parity. Information bits with reproduction parity are created by performing error-correcting coding on the decode information bits. If the number of dissident bits in comparing the information bits with reproduction parity and the information bits with reception parity is equal to or less than a predetermined value, it is discriminated that the received data stream includes information bits addressed to a relevant slave device. A new data stream is created by deleting only one bit of "1" in the address bits from the received data stream, and transmitted to a slave device on the next stage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
