PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening and closing device capable of calculating the weight of a die, a die tightening device, and a method for calculating weight.SOLUTION: In an opening and closing device 1 comprising: a stationary board 11 for fitting a stationary die 5a; a movable board 12 arranged facing the stationary board 11 for fitting a moving die 5b; an opening and closing mechanism 13 for making the movable board 12 movable; and a controller 30 for controlling the opening and closing mechanism 13, the opening and closing mechanism 13 has a driving part 31 of generating driving force for making the movable board 12 movable, and the controller 30 has calculation means 17 for calculating the weight of a die 5 using the actual operation driving force outputted using the driving part 31. |
