PURPOSE:To use a collective entry passbook storage part efficiently is a passbook issuance device which performs the issuance of new passbook and document and the entry of data in a passbook. CONSTITUTION:The passbook issuance device consists of newly issued passbook storage parts 11-1 to 11-4, a part to store a passbook in which data is entered 11-5, and a passbook printer 19 which makes an entry in a passbook to be fed from the passbook storage parts 11-1 to 11-5 and a control part 20 which controls the feed of and data entry in passbooks in accordance with designated new issuance or data entry process. In addition, a means for locking 31 which locks a door 30 is provided in a passbook issuance device equipped with the door 30 for setting a passbook, in which data is entered from outside an enclosure, in the part to store a passbook 11-5. The control part 20 detects the locking of the door 30 by the means for locking 31 and recognizes the setting of the part to store a passbook 11-5 to a new passbook issuance process. |
