<p>PURPOSE:To improve the coupling intensity of a neck member and to improve the productivity by integrally providing a flange part which is fixed by embedding a notched part on a neck member at the intermediate part and letting upper surface flange part be a curved surface smoothly connecting the upper surface of crown member with the upper side column part of the neck member. CONSTITUTION:A neck member 25 is a tube shaped forging product and has a flange part 31 in an intermediate part and coaxial cylinder parts 32 and 33 on both end sides integrally with the flange part 31. In the neck member 25, one cylinder part 32 is located in a head main body 21a in a state of positioning so that the core part 31 embeds a notched part 30 of a crown member 24. The tip part of the cylinder member 32 is welded to the end part on a heel 27 side of a sole 26 in a main body member 22. The flange part 31 is welded to the end part of the crown member 24, a face member 23 and a main body member 22. The upper side of the core part 31 is defined as a saddle shaped curved surface 34 smoothly connecting the upper surface of the clown member 24 with the outer peripheral surface of the cylinder part 33 on upper side of the neck member 25.</p> |
