A belt buckle for vehicle safety-belt systems having a belt tensioner engaging on the belt buckle is equipped with a release button (12), into which a push-button (14) is integrated displaceably. The release button (12) carries a pivotably mounted blocking lever (20) which is pivoted when the push-button (14) is actuated, so that the release button (12) can move unimpeded past a stop part of the buckle housing (18). When, after the belt has been tensioned, the release button (12) endeavours, as a result of its mass inertia, to continue its movement to the end of the retensioning stroke, the blocking lever (20) nevertheless buts against the stop, so that a further movement of the release button (12) into its release position is prevented. …<IMAGE>… |
