Provided are a method of planting a plant for rooftop greening and a planting pot which does not need soil as tree planting foundation material needed for plant survival as well as light weight optimal greening material and thus is useful in rooftop greening. A plant for rooftop greening is planted by the steps of: forming a waterproof layer(12) such as waterproof paint on an artificial rock mass, natural rock mass and concrete bottom(11); constructing a plug(14) with an irregular shape on the waterproof layer to store rainwater; forming a non-woven fabric(15) along the shape of the plug to supply the stored rainwater to the upper part by a capillary phenomenon; constructing a wall body(13) with a height of 22 to 28mm on the outer side of the plug and non-woven fabric; spreading a three dimensional plant net(16) with a thickness of 20 to 25mm on the non-woven fabric; and supplying planting material for landscaping containing ground Racomitrium canescens onto the three dimensional plant net to grow moss(17) by rainwater. |
