A cavity filter for microwave having a metal ring is provided to increase capacitance of a variable capacitor of an equivalent circuit without changing the shape of a resonator. In a cavity filter(30) for microwave, at least one resonator(32) is installed in a conductive housing(31). A metal ring(34) surrounds a top part of the resonator with a gap. The inside of the conductive housing where the resonator is installed, is sealed, and the metal ring is formed in a body with a cover part(33) in order to be projected from the bottom of the cover part. An input port to apply a microwave signal to the cavity filter and an output port to output a microwave signal by the cavity filter are installed on both sides of the housing. |
