PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method enabling production of a resin-treated single cord having a remarkably longer length than that of a conventional single cord. SOLUTION: The method for producing the single cord comprises connecting odd-numbered cords to even-numbered cords adjacent to the odd-numbered cords from a first end in the width direction to the second end direction in the first end of length direction of reed screen woven fabric using the cord as warp 12 and using low strength yarn as weft 14, connecting even-numbered cords to odd-numbered cords adjacent to the even-numbered cord from the first end in the width direction to the second end direction in the second end in the length direction, connecting cords constituting a reed screen woven fabric so as to become one continuous cord to produce continuous cord reed screen woven fabric 10, treating the continuous cord reed screen woven fabric with a resin, winding the treated woven fabric in roll form and drawing cords from the end in the width direction of the rolled material and rolling the cords.
