<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing preventing its failure, even when a high load is applied, by optimizing an installation position of a pin engaged with an engagement groove formed on a housing to prevent creep. <P>SOLUTION: A locking member 6 is provided for an outer ring 2, so as to be separated from load action lines LL set to be inclined with respect to rolling element pitch center lines PL passing through centers O of a plurality of rolling elements 4 and drawn in a radial direction of the rolling bearing 1. The engagement groove 30b is formed on the housing 30 to which the outer ring 2 is fitted, and the locking member 6 is engaged with the engagement groove 30b.
