PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable electronic equipment capable of detecting an oblique angle with disturbance eliminated therefrom in real time. SOLUTION: A portable telephone unit 1 has a vibration motor 48 generating vibration and an acceleration sensor 45, and stores the pattern data of a change in inclination caused by the vibration of the vibration motor 48. A CPU 49 determines the occurrence of the vibration by the vibration motor 48, and extracts the stored pattern data to remove the pattern data from the detection data of an oblique angle when it is determined that the vibration has occurred.
