PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intercom in which a hook switch can be turned off reliably even when a user does not correctly set a handset after talk.SOLUTION: A first supporting part 15, a second supporting part 17 and a hook switch 19 are provided in a handset mounting part 12 of an intercom body 11. In the state where the first supporting part 15 supports a transmitter 14 of a handset 13 and the second supporting part 17 supports a receiver 16 of the handset 13, the receiver 16 turns off the hook switch 19. A first protrusion 18 is formed which guides the transmitter 14 in the first supporting part 15, and a second protrusion 20 is formed which is fitted into an ear pad recess 16b of the receiver 16 in the second supporting part 17. Heights of the first protrusion 18 and the second protrusion 20 are set to such a relation that a distal end of the second protrusion 20 becomes higher than a distal end of the first protrusion 18 (H2>H1) in the state where the intercom body 11 is installed obliquely on a horizontal plane. |
