METHOD FOR PROCESSING MULTIMEDIA MESSAGE

A method for processing a multimedia message is provided to enable a client to easily utilize community activity in the mobile network by generating a WBB, and providing a personal and community MMBBS(Multimedia Bulletin Board System) through an MMS terminal/client supporting the MMS. A server receives the multimedia message received from a mobile terminal through a mobile telecommunication system by checking whether a receiver side of the received multimedia message is the mobile terminal or the other server in the network(250). The server converts a wireless file form of multimedia contents included in the multimedia message into a wired file form. The server transmits the converted multimedia contents to the receiver side server(265,275). The server informs a sender or the second mobile terminal of a message representing that the multimedia contents are transmitted to the receiver side server.
