A method of jetting high pressure fuel, comprising providing a reference injection time deciding unit (52) for deciding a reference injection time (Tr) for an injector (32) in response to a target fuel injection amount signal (Qt) so as to obtain an injection amount, which is decided by a target fuel injection amount deciding unit (51), from the injector (32) supplied with a high pressure fuel from a high pressure pump (2), and a correction amount calculating unit (53) for calculating a correction amount (F), which corrects an error caused by a decrease in a fuel pressure during injection of a fuel from the injector (32), based on a reference injection time (Tr) and a rotational speed (R) of the high pressure pump (2); and deciding an actual injection time (Ta) by correcting the reference injection time (Tr) by the correction amount (F). Accordingly, an injection pulse width is controlled so that the injector (32) can accurately supply a desired fuel injection amount.
