PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide lock releasing mechanism for a vehicle seat which can easily perform the releasing of a slide lock regardless of the length of a slide rail or the attaching position of a slide mechanism. SOLUTION: Numerous locking teeth 2e are formed on a lower rail 2, and a lock member 8 on which locking holes 10a, where the locking teeth 2e are inserted, are formed is freely rockably attached to an upper rail 4. Also, a lock releasing member 16 which rocks the lock member 8 is freely rockably attached to the upper rail 4.
