<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery capable of improving a recycle property. <P>SOLUTION: A negative electrode active material layer 12B is formed by a gas phase method and includes Si as a component. In the negative active material layer 12B, a plurality of primary particles 123 grown in the thickness direction in formation, and the primary particles are gathered for forming a plurality of secondary particles. The primary particle 123 and the secondary particle 121 are tilted to the same side with respect to the straight line orthogonal to a negative electrode collector 12A on the cross sectional face in the thickness direction.
