<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the distance surely as predetermined or larger from the adhering surface of a prism to the light receiving surface of a photo diode for detecting the signals. <P>SOLUTION: This composite optical element 1 has a prism 4 and a light emitting element 6 facing this prism on a substrate 3 and signal detecting photo detectors PD1, PD2 formed under the prism on the substrate. By adhering the bottom of the prism to the substrate by using an ultraviolet curing resin m, and adding a dioxide silicon layer 7 to the bottom of the prism, the distance C was set to 8 μm or larger between the bottom of the prism and the light receiving surface of the photo detectors for detecting signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
