An image display device is provided to prevent corrosion in the first terminal parts, which are connected to the second terminal part even under a high-temperature and high-humidity environment, thereby preventing disconnection in the second terminal parts, which are wider than the first terminal parts. An image display device comprises the first substrate(1) and the second substrate(5). The first substrate, such as a TFT(Thin Film Transistor) substrate, forms a display panel, and has a plurality of terminal parts(14,14A,14B) for electrical connections with the external of the display panel. The second substrate, such as an FPCB(Flexible Printed Circuit Board), has a plurality of terminal parts(16,16A,16B) which is electrically connected with the display panel through the terminal parts of the first substrate. One of the terminal parts of the second substrate is wider than a corresponding terminal part of the first substrate. Higher potential than a neighbor terminal part is supplied to the wider terminal part. |
