PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method and an apparatus of a waste incineration exhaust gas by using a dust collector and a desalination agent capable of effectively reducing acidic gas concentration in the waste incineration exhaust gas while reducing the used amount of the desalination agent without remarkably increasing the load of the dust collector.SOLUTION: A desalination agent consisting of sodium bicarbonate is supplied to the upstream side of a dust collector 14 collecting fly ash in an exhaust gas. A part of the fly ash collected by the dust collector 14 is circulated so as to be returned to the inlet side of the dust collector 14. A circulation amount and a desalination agent supply amount are adjusted so that acidic gas concentration in the exhaust gas becomes a targeted value or lower while keeping the circulation rate of the fly ash between a minimum circulation rate and a maximum circulation rate set in the range of 15% or higher and 50% or lower.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
