<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilating device capable of preventing intrusion of flame into a house through a ventilating device even when an operation plate is placed at an open position. <P>SOLUTION: An air passage 10a constantly communicated with a slit-shaped ventilating hole 11a at an outdoor side or an indoor side, is formed inside of a device main body 10 of the ventilating device 1. The operation plate 21 is moved between a close position and an open position by an operation knob 22 of a ventilating mechanism 20. At the open position, the other slit-shaped ventilating hole 12a is opened to communicate with the air passage 10a. A fireproof member 30 composed of a foam material is disposed in the air passage 10a. The fireproof member 30 foams by heating in fire and the like, thus the opening of the air passage 10a by the operating plate 21 at the open position is shut off. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
