<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for assisting walking of a person with dysfunctional lower limbs, capable of supporting him/her from the back so as not to obstruct work, and securing a standing position and a free space at the front. <P>SOLUTION: The walker comprises: a support frame part 2 with a height for supporting the lower back part from behind the person with the dysfunctional lower limbs; a constant torque spring part 3 attached to the upper part of the support frame part 2; and a lower limb support arm part 4 whose base part is mounted on the constant torque spring part 3 so that the distal end becomes freely turnable in a vertical direction, and which lifts the lower back part of the person with the dysfunctional lower limbs from both sides at the back. The lower back part of the person with the dysfunctional lower limbs is lifted by the lower limb support arm part 4 by a constant load by the constant torque spring part 3 and the state of a standing position is maintained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
