Image forming process

Disclosed is an image forming process employing a light-sensitive image forming material and a developing solution. The image forming material comprises a support, a peel layer and a light-sensitive resin layer containing a pigment having an anionic group, superposed in order. The process comprises the steps of imagewise exposing the image forming material to light and developing the material by the use of a developing solution having a polymer having the following recurring unit (A): <IMAGE> image on the peel layer.
