<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery device which enables further miniaturization and weight-reduction of an electronic apparatus body, can be simply and surely attached and detached to the electronic apparatus body by one-hand operation, is safe with no risk of electric leakage and electric shock, and is easy to use. <P>SOLUTION: The battery device 1 is mounted detachably via a battery lock mechanism 401 to the electronic instrument body 10. The battery lock mechanism 401 is prepared in the battery device 1 itself. The battery lock mechanism 401 comprises a lock hook 413 and an energizing means 414 integrally molded with a lock releasing operation piece 415 by an insulating material.
