发明名称 MAGNETIC RECORDER OF QUADRUPLE NOTATION
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device capable of recording/reproducing with high density and high speed by changing a conventional data recording system of binary notation to a recording system of quadruple notation. SOLUTION: As to the means, the data are shown with the quadruple notation by using 4 kinds of magnetisms such as the S-pole, N-pole in tie vertical direction of the recording surface of recording medium and the S-N, N-S arranged in the parallel direction of the recording surface of recording medium and also at right angle in the advancing direction of the track, and recorded on the magnetic medium. A head of this recorder is provided with a recording/reproducing coil for the magnetic field in the direction parallel to the medium around the vertex of the inverse U-shaped core and a recording/reproducing coil for the magnetic field in the direction vertical to the medium, in which both ends of an opening part are wound with the same coil. Thus, 4 kinds of magnetisms in each direction of vertical and parallel with respect to the medium are recorded and reproduced by using the bead arranging two coils on the single magnetic head. The head is arranged so that a line connecting both ends of the head and the advance direction of the track are formed to be the right angle. The head provided with plural coils for recording and reproducing the magnetic fields in the plural vertical and horizontal directions is used for the single head.
