<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a power source electrode and to improve aperture ratio of an organic EL device. <P>SOLUTION: This organic EL display device in the present invention has circuit layout shown in Figure. A gate 14g of a first thin film transistor 14 is connected to a first electrode 10, a drain 14d is connected to a second electrode 12 and a source 14s is connected to a gate 15g of a second thin film transistor 15, respectively, one of a drain 15d or a source 15s of the second thin film transistor 15 is connected to an electroluminescence element 1 and the other of the drain 15d or the source 15s is connected to the first electrode 10 in each pixel of the organic EL device. Thus, the conventionally used power source electrode can be eliminated by commonly connecting the gates or drains to the first electrode 10.
