Sun protection cap comprises a screen (1) made from paper cut into a variable shape and covered with a plastic film using a laminating method. The paper screen is somewhat smaller so that a 2 mm wide edge made from fused plastic remains after punching out. A 1 cm beveled strip is formed on the outer edge of the screen. The rear side of the screen is sewn into a front band which is 30 cm long and 3-4 cm wide. An adjustable rubber band is sewn onto both ends of the front band. Preferred Features: The paper used for the screen is graphically structured or provided with a photographic, patterned or imaged print. The front band is made from cord or yarn.
