PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform good image formation by appropriately removing foreign matter by a conveyance roller part before the foreign matter stuck to a sheet of paper is sent to an image forming part. SOLUTION: The image forming device has a conveyance path for conveying the sheet of paper for recording an image, the image forming part for recording a desired image on the sheet, the conveyance roller provided in the conveyance passage for conveying the sheet to the image forming part, and a foreign matter removing mechanism 26a for removing foreign matter stuck to a roller face of the conveyance roller. The foreign matter removing mechanism 26a is composed of a scrape off piece 4a for scraping off the foreign matter, and an elastic member 8a for wiping off the foreign matter.
