PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and thin vibration control unit provided with a bending optical system, and positioning an imaging element in a correct position without hindering reduction in size, and to provide a photographing unit provided with the vibration control unit, and a photographing device provided with the photographing unit. SOLUTION: An imaging element holder main body 1111 is provided with a front contact face in contact with a light receiving side front face edge part of the imaging element 110, and side contact faces 111A -111C in contact with two adjacent side faces diagonal in a first corner, of the imaging element 110, a second corner diagonal to the first corner is exposed, and imaging element is pressed to the side contact faces, by exposing the second corner diagonal to the first corner, and by inserting an assembling jig into an exposed portion E to be energized to a side contact face side. The imaging element 110 is further pressed by a spring member 1112 fixed to the imaging element holder main body 1111 to press elastically an imaging element rear face side, and the spring member 1112 is fixed, by an adhesive, onto the imaging element rear face side in contact with the front contact face and the side contact faces.
