A tube type heating element is provided to increase a heating area by winding an electric heating wire around an outer circumference of a flexible core member. A tube type heating element(1) includes a flexible core member(2), an electric heating wire(3), an outer cover(4), and a coating layer(5). The core member has a tube shape. The electric heating wire is wound around the outer circumference of the core member in a coil shape. The electric heating wire is made of copper or copper alloy. The outer cover is laminated on the outer circumference of the core member. The coating layer is laminated on the outer circumference of the outer cover. The coating layer has high thermal conductivity to discharge the heat generated in the electric heating wire to the outside. The coating layer is made of the mixture of the charcoal and/or silver to remove an electromagnetic wave and bacteria.
