PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a 4×4 MIMO transmission technique capable of maximizing transmission capacity in line-of-sight communication.SOLUTION: The radio communication system includes first, second, third, and fourth antenna elements for a transmission side and a reception side. A communication device for performing reception includes a MIMO processing section 500 for performing signal processing for performing spatial multiplex demultiplexing from a reception signal received with the first to fourth antenna elements 11, 12, 13, 14.
