<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inkjet recording which is hardly affected by retardation of polymerization due to oxygen or moisture at the time when an image of a low density part is cured and polymerized by using a low illuminance light source. <P>SOLUTION: A recording solution containing at least a polymerizable compound and a treating solution different in composition from the recording solution being used, a droplet (I) of 100 pl or less consisting of the recording solution and a droplet (II) of 100 pl or less consisting of the treating solution are discharged onto a recording medium by an inkjet recording head, and after the discharge, they are polymerized and cured by low illuminance exposure wherein the illuminance on the surface of the recording medium is 1,000 mW/cm<SP>2</SP>or less, so as to form the image. On the occasion, the vertically projected area S1 of the droplet (I) to the recording medium, the vertically projected area S2 of the droplet (II) and the vertically projected area S3 of a superposed part of the droplets (I) and (II), in the low illuminance exposure, are in the relations of S1<S2 and S1=S3 in this inkjet recording method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
