PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely form a proper gap between a water splash preventing tool and a washbowl.SOLUTION: The water splash preventing tool 1 is attached to the faucet 16 of a wash-basin 10 and has a water receiving plate 2 having a recessed water receiving face 3. An attachment hole 4 is formed in the water receiving plate 2. By inserting the faucet 16 through the attaching hole 4 and making the suction cup 31 be sucked onto the inner wall face 12 of the washbowl 11, the water receiving plate 2 is attached to the inside of the washbowl 11. Water drops scattering from the washbowl 11 are received by the water receiving face 3 and then guided downward to flow into the washbowl 11. A boss 34 abuttin on the inner wall face 12 of the washbowl 11 and forming a gap between the water receiving plate 2 and the inner wall face 12, when the water splash preventing tool 1 is attached to the washbowl 11, is projectingly provided at the lower end part on the outside of the water receiving plate 2. |
