PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently dehumidify or defrost without almost waste due to defrosting operation by changing a time from a time point of sensing a frosting temperature to a time point of starting defrosting in response to humidity. SOLUTION: The humidifier having a cooler 8 provided at a site for passing suction air in a humidifier body 1 to execute a dehumidifying operation for dehumidifying by cooling sucked air by the cooler 8 and solidifying moisture in the air and to switch to a defrosting operation to remove frost adhered to the cooler 8 from the dehumidifying operation during dehumidifying operation at the time of low temperature, comprises a temperature sensor 19 for sensing the temperature of the cooler 8, and a control means for controlling a time to switch to the defrosting operation based on detected data of a static pressure sensor 20 after the sensor 19 detects a temperature to defrost at the time of dehumidifying operation. |
