PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of increasing the ejected quantity of an IC card even when the acting force to a pushrod is reduced. SOLUTION: A first and second spindles 15, 16 are erected on a pin housing 10 provided with many pin contacts, and an eject lever 13 is rotatably supported on the first spindle 15. A pushrod 12 is reciprocatably supported on a frame 11, and its tip is engaged with the inject lever 13. A drive layer 14 having an extruding pawl 14b of an IC card 1 is rotatably supported on the second spindle 16, a first and second engaging pieces 14c, 14d are formed on it, and they are protruded in the connecting holes 13c, 13d of the inject lever 13. When the inject lever 13 is rotated interlockingly with the pressing action of the pushrod 12, power is transmitted to the drive lever 14 via the first engaging piece 14c in the initial stage, and the drive lever 14 is rotated while a power transmission section is replaced by the second coupling piece 14d during the rotation.
