PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof and snow prevention type ventilation louvre which can obtain excellent waterproof and drainage performance while securing sufficient air permeability and also can obtain sure waterproof and snow protection performance against the rain water and snow whirled up from under. SOLUTION: Each of vertical slats 7 is so formed that a cross section in the direction of the width of a frame body 2 (in the direction of inside and outside) is formed in an approximately dogleg shape and that a first arc-shaped surface 8 and a second arc-shaped surface 9 having curved directions different from each other are continued, with a refraction point 7a of the vertical slat 7 as a boundary. An opening section 18a for exhausting rain water making incursion therein is provided to the bottom section, and a drainage incline 19 inclined downward to the outside from the inside of the waterproof and snow protection type ventilation louver 1 is formed downward of the opening section 18a. A skirt section 20 covering the lower end front surface of the louvre 1 from the lower end of the horizontal slats 3 is mounted, and a drainage port 21 is formed with regard to the drainage incline 19.
