PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key holding device capable of preventing an accidental fall of a key holder. SOLUTION: In this key holding device 15, the key holder H is detachably provided in such a manner that a hook portion 48 provided in a case body 12 serves as a key holding portion. The key holder H is provided with an insertion hole 53 for inserting the hook portion 48. A coming-off regulating portion 52 is formed by forming a protrusion on the outer periphery of the hook portion 48. The key holder H is put into the state of being suspended in a prescribed attitude in the hook portion 48, in a position to go over the coming-off regulating portion 52.
